Enhancing the University Experience

These events offer a world of ideas and experiences to all members of the University community and are a vital part of the overall academic experience offered at URI.

Each year there are many opportunities for individuals or corporations to sponsor special programs or ongoing events at the University, including:

  • URI Fine Arts Center Galleries offer nationally known artists and impressive local talent.
  • URI Great Performances shares with the audience the cultural and historic diversity of our modern world through its music, song, and dance. With the help of private and corporate contributions, and national, regional, and state grants, our ticket prices remain the lowest in the state.
  • URI Theatre acting ensemble at the University of Rhode Island is proud to present a widely exciting variety of theatrical experiences that you and your students are sure to enjoy.
  • URI Honors Colloquium provides an opportunity for the campus community to get together with experts from a wide range of disciplines to discuss and exchange points of view.
