From Connecticut, New York and Points West - Via Route 1:

Interstate 95 N to exit 92 in CT. Right turn after leaving highway, then about 1.5 miles on CT Rt. 2 to Rt.78. Take Rt. 78 E (a barrier divides the roadway) 4 miles to Rt. 1 N in Westerly, RI. Left on Rt. 1 N for about 27 miles to intersection of Rts. 1 and 138. Right turn on Bridgetown Road. Continue to next traffic signal (intersection of
Bridgetown Road and Scenic Rt. 1A). Cross intersection onto South Ferry Road. Continue past South Ferry industrial park (on the right) and the South Ferry Church (on the left) to the entrance to the Graduate School of Oceanography (first right turn after Church).

From Providence, Boston and Points North:

Interstate 95 S toward NY to exit 9, a left exit onto Rt. 4 S. Continue to Rt. 1 and the junction of Rt. 138 W. Take a left at the tower onto Bridgetown Road to South Ferry Road. Continue past South Ferry industrial park (on the right) and the South Ferry Church (on the left) to the entrance to the Graduate School of Oceanography (first right turn after Church).

From Cape Cod and Points East:

Interstate 195 W to Rt. 24 S to Rt. 138 W, cross Newport bridge and then Jamestown bridge. At the intersection of Rt. 138 W and Scenic Rt. 1A, exit to Scenic Rt. 1A South to left turn onto South Ferry Road (first traffic signal south of intersection with Rt. 138). Continue past South Ferry industrial park (on the right) and the South Ferry Church (on the left) to the entrance to the Graduate School of Oceanography (first right turn after Church).

Directions into the Bay Campus:  Upon entering the campus, proceed straight and continue all the way to the end of the road, at which point you should see a sign for the Boatyard.
