The College of Pharmacy will create a new state-of-the- art learning environment designed for the 21st Century, which will expand the College's academic and research programs as well as its outreach efforts.

The Center for Biotechnology and Life Sciences will be a hub of cutting-edge research, imaginative undergraduate and graduate education, and modern workforce development and economic growth in RI's biotechnology, health, and life sciences sectors.

Student Athlete Development Center will provide state-of-the-art facilities to address needs related to strength & conditioning, sports medicine, and academic support for all varsity student-athletes. These areas are vital to helping our student-athletes achieve at the highest level and help our coaches recruit student-athletes that will will make all alumni, fans and friends proud.

The Undersea Exploration Center and Pell Marine Sciences Library will integrate key resources an services of the Graduate School of Oceanography to further position it as a 21st century leader in the study of the world's oceans. Groundbreaking on the $15 million project occurred in late 2007 on the grounds of the Narragansett Bay Campus.

The International Center for Students and Scholars will advance international education and intercultural exchange at the University of Rhode Island.
