URI’s Premier Fund

The Fund for URI, formerly known as the Annual Fund, is the premier fund for the University. Providing support critical for student, faculty, and alumni programs, contributions to the Fund for URI provide flexible funding that can be put to immediate use.

How your gift makes a difference

If you choose to make an unrestricted gift, you are allowing the University to use your contribution where it is needed most. Your unrestricted gift will support areas such as student scholarships, faculty development, alumni programs and events, and a variety of special student programs and services. The Fund for URI: The Parents Fund helps support student enrichment programs and events, and fund student participation in conferences, research competitions, and leadership programs. David and Cynthia Phelan, parents of Katherine ’10, are chairing the 2007-2008 Parents Fund for URI.

The Fund for URI: The Library contributes to the University Library, a vital resource for teaching, learning, and research.
