The Business Engagement Center
The URI Foundation has partnered with the University to launch the University of Rhode Island's Business Engagement Center (BEC), designed to help businesses access the many resources that exist across the University.
The BEC was established in the fall of 2013 to provide Rhode Island businesses, as well as those outside of the state, with a one-stop shopping approach to accessing the University’s vast resources – resources which can play a role in helping businesses succeed and grow.
Companies – from entrepreneurial start-ups to major corporations – face many challenges in today’s global and quickly evolving economic landscape. The Business Engagement Center serves as business’s “front door” toward navigating the talent, knowledge and expertise that URI offers.
What can the BEC do for your business?
• Find fresh talent
• Bring great ideas to market
• Partner on sponsored research
• Plan professional conferences
• Provide access to URI’s facilities and meeting spaces
