Student Calling Program

We love our student callers!

The URI Phonathon continues to grow and garner valued support from the URI community thanks to the hard work of our students!

Last year, the URI Student Phonathon Program raised more than $300,000 in cash and pledges from more than 4,000 alumni and parents and earned the support of 947 new Annual Fund donors as a result of the Alumni Participation Initiative.

Our team of about 50 student callers works primarily during the academic year, reaching out to our alumni, parents and friends most weeknights and Sunday afternoons.

Please, take the call.

Get ready to pick up the phone and connect with one of our energetic and inspiring students. They will fill you in on recent campus happenings, update your records, happily listen to your favorite URI memories and seek support for the URI Annual Fund, which provides immediate and flexible funding to the programs across campus and helps provide limitless opportunities for students.

The Phonathon is a very important part of the Annual Fund and our students do an outstanding job, serving as ambassadors of the University and helping raise important funds to support students, campus-wide.  Our students will call  more than 50,000 alumni, parents and friends each year.  We encourage you to take their calls and participate in what could be an interesting and informative conversation!

Too busy to chat?

Please take a minute to make your online donation to URI now. This will remove your name from our calling list for the rest of the fiscal year, ending June 30.
