The Rhody Senior Class Challenge

Members of the graduating senior class at URI, led by a volunteer committee of students, have stepped up over the past several years, since the Challenge was launched, to give back to URI.

Recognizing the importance of philanthropy and the fact that every student's experience here at URI has, in some way, been impacted by private gifts, Rhody Seniors formed a group, as part of the URI Student Philanthropy Council, with the specific goal of securing gifts by seniors as they prepare to graduate.  Though the size of the gift is not important, taking the step to make the gift to their alma mater, is.  The committee hopes that, by instilling a sense of commitment to URI early on, lifelong support habits may form, translating into years of support for the University they love.

The 2017 Rhody Senior Class Challenge

The Class of 2017 Rhody Senior Challenge committee will be planning a number of activities across campus to engage and inform members of the URI Class of 2017 senior class about this year’s challenge.  If you are interested in being part of the senior challenge volunteer committee which will be working to help reach out to fellow seniors, please contact Steph Otis, Rhody Senior Challenge Chair, at or Erin Regan, Student Philanthropy Council Chair, at for more information.
