Boat Donation & Sales Program
The URIF’s Boat Donation & Sales Program accepts donations of boats of all types which are either put to good use by faculty and students in one of the University’s marine educational programs, or sold to raise funds for student scholarships.
Making this type of charitable donation could have a favorable impact on your year-end tax return, since your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowable under the law. Your gift also provides a source of support to URI students and programs.
Individuals who are interested in purchasing boats that have been donated to us also benefit by generally purchasing sailboats or powerboats at very competitive prices.
